Coreopsis lanceolata: seeds

p[Photo: Coreopsis lanceolata seeds] Coreopsis lanceolata, known in English as lanceleaf coreopsis or lanceleaf tickseed and in French as coréopsis lancéolé or œil de jeune fille is a perennial native to much of North America. The bright yellow daisy-like flowers have wide petals with scalloped edges.

Last year, I had one lanceleaf coreopsis which I bought from Toronto Botanical Garden. It got a bit leggy since the spot I put it wasn't sunny enough, but the flowers were so pretty that I want get more and try again. I got these seeds from Wall Flower Studio Seeds at Seedy Saturday, and I've got them sown in moist starter mix in the fridge.
