Cichorium intybus in bloom
Cichorium intybus, known in English as "chicory", "blue sailors", "succory", "coffeeweed", "cornflower", or "Italian dandeliion" and in French as chicorée sauvage, is a perennial native to Europe, which is a widespread roadside weed here in Toronto. I photographed this plant in High Park.
