See how different plants that grow in Toronto (AgCanada hardiness zone 6; USDA zone 5) look all year round and at different stages in their life cycles.
For some reason, the leaves of the mignonette seedlings (sown about 6 weeks ago) are turning orange. I don't think they are supposed to, for I don't see orange leaves in the mignonette photos online. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Leaf discoloration is typically a nutrient deficiency. Perhaps phosphorus? What are you feeding your offspring? It's hard to get the balance right in pots with such a small root zone. As long as the central growing portion of the plant isn't stunted, it'll probably sort itself out once you bed the plants outdoors.
